Dog behavioural consultations

At Take My Lead, we currently offer dog behavioural consultations at a fee of £250, up to 3 hours on site.

Follow-up sessions at a fee of £45 per hour. We will collect a variety of important information in the initial consultation and ascertain the behavioural or psychological issue at hand. We conduct the analysis by means of discussion, demonstration, the completion of an owners' personality questionnaire, and accessing the functional analysis and behavioural diagnostics in each case.

We will provide you with an implication and implementation report after our initial consultation. We will allow you sufficient time to carry out the suggested rehabilitation exercises/programme before the follow-up appointments to review progress. Support will be made available over telephone or email in-between the follow-up appointments if necessary. Contact us for more details or to book a consultation.

We also offer 1-1 training appointments at a fee of £90 for a minimum 2 hour session on site, discussing targets that need to be achieved, demonstrating correct techniques and implementing these techniques to show results and teaching how these can be implemented in your day to day life.

Doggy Day Care minimum 5 hrs - £25 (Monday-Friday)
Saturday’s are charged £7.50 per hour.
Sunday’s are charged at £10 per hour.
Doggy Day Care minimum 5 hrs for 2 dogs from the same household - £43.75 (Monday-Friday)
Saturday’s charged at £13.15 per hour.
Sunday’s charged at £17.50 per hour.
We offer a free consultation for the above, prior to the commencement of the services. Mileage fees apply.

Would highly recommend take my lead excellent service time after time.

'We have a rescue husky and he has come such a long way thanks to take my lead, this lady is amazing at her job ! I would highly recommend her! Not only does she walk my dog every week but I wouldn't trust anyone else to have him for over night boarding, also due to her excellent training in dog psychology she has trained our pooch from a very naughty boy with no training who had 3 previous owners who all brought him back as they where unable to handle him, to the lovely boy he is now. I can't thank her enough for her excellent work.'
